Hi everyone, I’m Brandi Leigh!
At my core, I believe you have something valuable to share and the world needs to hear it. If you’ve felt called to write your book, what has kept you from answering the prompting? What has led you to postpone it? I encourage you to replace your reasons for WAITING with the most powerful reason you can have for STARTING: the opportunity to change the lives of very real human beings who need your book, right now, today.
But as much as I know this to be true, I also understand that writing is hard (even for people who feel "good" at it).
As a state-credentialed teacher with a Master’s degree in the Teaching of Writing, a decade of teaching and leadership experience, and countless hours of professional development behind me, I've learned that making this complex skill accessible to ANYONE takes precise and intentional planning, focused feedback, and most importantly - authentic love and compassion.
I also struggled with answering my own calling to write a book. It took years to navigate my message, audience, authentic voice, chapters, etc. Once I got to the other side of that, I realized that with the steps clearly laid out, you can go from "I want to write a book" to "I'm writing a book!!" in 8 hours or less. That's it. So I built my "It's Time to Write Your Book" program and have made it my personal mission to empower everyone to share their unique stories and knowledge as a heart-centered gift and act of love/service.
What you have learned through your very real and valuable life experience is too important to stay trapped in the wistfully dreamy “I want to write a book” stage without ever actually coming true. There are people who desperately need to know what you wish you had known years ago. Regardless of your background or comfort level as a writer, this course will help you take that dream of helping people through your story and make it real.
The "It's Time to Write Your Book" program is designed to build your book's foundation either as an 8-hour online course with 1 hour of 1-1 feedback OR fully 1-1, whichever works best for you. I also offer 2 writing mentorship programs designed to support you through the writing process (6 weeks or 12 weeks), where we work together to establish/meet your goals for writing the book, drafting, editing, revision, design, and more.
