About Gira Schofield

Growing up I’ve always been into Spirituality and always had a sense that 'everything happens as it should' and that some how 'everything was connected.' I just didn't know how or what that exactly meant. I was brought up in a nondenominational home and if I was willing to open up my mind, a new potential could come into play. I was exposed to all religions, books about consciousness, personal development, and holistic health since the day I was born. Shoot I was even born at home, which was unheard of in the 80s. Yeah, I am an 80s baby here. I know it sounds a little crazy, buuuut I was blessed with conscious aware parents.

My journey started at 4 years old when I fell in love with tennis. I competed in tennis for 20 years playing on the National and International Junior Circuit. By the age of 15 I was #1 in the nation in the G16s. I received a full ride scholarship to the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks!!! I received my BS in Exercise Science at USC. After college, I played professional tennis. During that time I started having excruciating low back pain. I found out I had a grade 3 fracture in the 5th lumbar. I went to all different kinds of doctors from allopathic medicine to holistic medicine. Nothing seem to help this body. I knew from that moment I would never be able to compete in tennis again and looked to coaching in tennis. I coached competitive junior tennis players for 8 years. I helped over a 100 kids receive full ride scholarships or attend an Ivy League University. I've always loved helping and working with kids to maximize their potential.

In 2017, my excruciating low back pain came back aaaand this time it seem to be in full force. This is where I started to look for other modalities and knew it was a Mind-Body connection imbalance. I started with visualization, which led to meditation and breath work. The next stepping stone was receiving my NASM personal training certification. In 2018, I further my education on the functionality of the body, so I could understand why certain muscles were so tight and aggravated.

I had reached my pain threshold and the conventional ways of looking at my body failed me. This forced me to look deeper within myself in Mind-Body-Spirit. I took classes in everything that I could get my hands on from sound healing to essential oils to crystals to oracle cards to Reiki to the Ancient Arts of Alchemy. Through this Mind-Body-Spirit journey I met amazing people that changed my life and I wanted to do the same for others. I decided to take that ‘Leap of Faith’ and get certified as a USUI/ Holy Fire Reiki Master at Blue Angle House. During that time I immerse myself in the studies of Ancient Alchemy from my mentor and I am a 3 year trained Spiritual Alchemist. From that moment, I knew I was meant to do more than coach in tennis. I was meant to help people get out of pain, manage stress, deal with life’s adversity, and so much more.

Now, I am free of pain. I want people to know that there are other safe alternatives to get out of pain, where the side of effects do not harm your mind & body. Through my own journey I learned that our bodies have an alarm system and if we listen closely enough it will tell us where our physical tension lies and how to fix it. The stress we are under can be managed and we all can live a healthy, productive, well-balanced life. My passion runs deep within my soul.
