How, Why, and What is SomaVeda® Thai Yoga Therapy?
Firstly, after a receiving a session, most people comment they haven't felt that "limber" in years. They feel invigorated, yet relaxed and calm, at the same time. The goal is an invigorating and balancing full body experience, and that’s just the beginning of the Protocol!The best thing about it, is that you do not have to be flexible to begin your journey with SomaVeda™. SomaVeda™ Thai Yoga Therapy is a unique experience of hands-on healing including compression, stretching, and working pressure points. This is all done while working on a floor mat, or a massage table, but can also be done in a hospital bed, wheelchair, or even the floor of a hotel room (like I have done for some band members on tour!).
It begins with compressions progressing from the feet up the legs, and then systematically, like a sacred dance of stretching, it moves to other body parts. It works the energy lines throughout the body, focusing on the arms, legs, back, hips, and shoulders, while stimulating the flow of blood and lymph throughout the body. This is perfect for anyone that wants a good stretch and a new sense of "ease" in the body.
