About Reiki:
We all have a life force energy, known as ki or chi, which flows through our bodies. When this energy is blocked or stagnant, it can lead to physical or emotional discomfort and disease. Reiki practitioners use their hands to direct this energy into the clients body and remove blockages, helping to restore balance and promote healing.
During a Reiki session, the fully clothed client lies down or sits comfortably while the practitioner places their hands on or near the body. The practitioner then channels the energy through their hands, allowing it to flow into the client's body. Clients often experience a feeling of warmth or relaxation during the session, and may even fall asleep.
Reiki is a safe and non-invasive practice that can be used to complement traditional medical treatments. It is not a religion or belief system, and is open to anyone regardless of their spiritual or religious beliefs.
